  1. Republicans need to fucking drop their shit right now. They are fucking around with a lot of people dying because they think it’ll help Trump’s election chances. That is beyond vile.

This is the type of thing that burns my buttons more than anything else.

If you’re a politician and your political ideology is government oversight and interference is bad and should be avoided at all costs and you actively campaign and vote against those things, then stand by you word/ideology when the rubber meets the road. And, see how your constituency (or at least those that live through the disaster) feel about your ideology.

Or, maybe, just maybe take a step back and realize your hypocrisy shines a bright spot light on the fact that your ideology is a crock of shit.

  3. Strange how these people don’t want to put money into things like this, until they *actually need that funding*

  4. I can vouch for the fact that if you live long enough, they eventually name a hurricane after you.

  5. Perhaps she shouldn’t accept the help. But no, her ignorance shouldn’t count against the people of crazy-ass Florida.

  6. And she has the audacity to call out Kamala when this c n t voted against raising the fema budget…. During a hurricane watch. That was going to hit her state.

  7. Not a cent.

Don’t give any more money to the South until those people learn how to stop lying.

Until then? They can do some backstrokes in the warm water. Be glad it’s not 20 degrees down there.

Learn some honesty. In the meantime, let them take care of themselves on their own.

I don’t want any of my tax dollars going to that part of the country.

  8. “I don’t have time for political games” – and actual quote from Ron “Disney” DeSantis.

When does “playing politics” cross the line into criminal behavior that deliberately makes people suffer or gets them killed?

    Probably already has

Lives in Florida, doesn’t think other states should get disaster money, begs for it when Florida Florida’s. Checks out.

  11. A favourite author described groups of corrupt politicians as ’less cohesive than a rolling barrel of bullfrogs.’

The federal budget should be an opt in program. If your rep votes against it, your district doesn’t get it. We’ll see how many small government Republicans really exist.

  13. The problem is the vast majority of GOP voters will never be exposed to this information because they consume an alternative news media that traffics in conspiracy theories and culture war nonsense and not data and facts.

Just read this woman’s wiki and she is just about as vapid as I had imagined.

These people aren’t serious. They aren’t interested in governing, just grifting and fame seeking. And they definitely don’t care about their constituents

  16. Every time I hear bi-partisan anywhere, I’m honestly shocked as this types of news are far more often with the GOP constantly undermining their own people and putting them in constant danger if not killing them lime the current SCOTUS.

  17. Run ads and put up billboards in every affected state with the people’s faces and names who voted down disaster aid.  Give the states aid but be damn sure the people living their now their GOP representatives tried to sabotage them for political points.

A few days ago she claimed she was helping out after the storm when she was really putting up campaign signs. Luna-tic is complete trash and I hope she gets voted out this election. She has done absolutely nothing for Florida.
