Archival video of the launch of a modified Ukrainian kamikaze UAV “Strizh” (based on the Tupolev Tu-141 Strizh reconnaissance drone) against some target inside Russia.
The video is probably from 2022, but could be from early 2023
It looks like summer so I’m guessing it’s mid 2022. There was an unsuccessful attack onto a target in Kursk that summer using what was allegedly TU141s.
The first successful Ukrainian use of these old Soviet drones was them damaging two TU-95s at Engels-2. This was their deepest attack into Russia at the time.
