    >It’s official: Donald Trump’s plan for massive deportations would apply to legal immigrants, as well as undocumented immigrants.

    >During an exclusive interview with NewsNation, Trump said he planned to strip the legal status of the Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, who have been granted Temporary Protected Status.

  2. Vance said this weeks ago. He said that just because Harris “waved her magic wand” and made them legal doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be deported.

They have every intention of deporting anyone they don’t like. Or rounding them up and throwing them in camps. Remember McCarthy? Being a registered Democrat will cost you under their administration.

This was always the threat. Mixed race magas and magas with mixed race family members whom they view as white are in complete and delusional denial.

  4. In the event that Trump gets in, let’s plan on throwing farewell parties for pro-Trump immigrants who get deported.

Trump (and Project 2025) **always have been** threatening to deport legal immigrants. They are even suggesting denaturalizating natural born citizens who are political enemies.

These are literally a modern version of the Nuremberg Laws.

Damn, all this time the conservative media heads were stressing that they like legal immigration and it’s only illegal immigration they want to stop.

Well, just like anything else they get by licking Trump’s boots, he’s rug pulled them.

They’re now against legal immigration too. They are pro-censorship, anti-legal immigration, anti-personal freedoms, anti-economy (they love Trump’s tariff plan which will cause rampant inflation and unemployment), and of course anti-American (this is a free square with their love for the pro-slavery traitor flag and ‘better russian than democrat’ shirts).

RFK Jr supporters are also all of that. Womp womp. Sucks to suck.

It seems at this point Trump’s trying to win EXCLUSIVELY on anti-immigrant sentiment. Pretty much every single issue, they go back to immigrants. Election security? The problem is illegal immigrants voting. Jobs? Immigrants are taking them. Housing costs? It’s so expensive because illegal immigrants are somehow buying all the houses. … etc etc… You name a policy, he’s gonna find a way to blame all the problems on immigrants.

  8. Remember the famous quote from Martin Niemöller:
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
    Then they came for me
And there was no one left
    To speak out for me

This is what fascists always do.

  9. Not only is he looking to revoke protected status, but he will also try to denaturalize citizens as well as end birthright citizenship. They could go as far as applying retroactively. This man tried to steal an election, there’s no limit on how extreme he could take things

All those Hispanic voters who scream “I’m legal TRUMP 2024!”

    Yall next.

“They can’t deport me I’m legal, they can’t break the law!”

Leopards are about to be feasting if he wins.

  11. Someone should tally up the economic cost to Springfield if Trump/Vance got their way and deported all the immigrant laborers. Then they should extrapolate the economic effect of doing that to the rest of the USA.

Vance got a bit of a pass in the VP debate because he didn’t get called for not answering that question. Places like the WSJ, the NYT, and WaPo are assuming it’s all just talk. That’s not their role in society. Someone needs to step up and fill that information vacuum. It’s nice that some Nobel Prize winning economists wrote a letter, but the story needs to be told too.

The public needs to be informed of the danger before November.

We should start be deporting Trumps wife. Illegally immigrated here on an Einstein visa and she’s no Einstein.

It is a no brainer who to vote for this election.  It is between an ex-AG prosecutor who wants to keep our democracy vs. a man with 34 felon convictions and a conviction for sexual assault who plans to dismantle our government to make himself a dictator of this country.

I lived in the US for 7 years. First on a J1 trainee visa, then on an H1B visa. After Trump got elected I made a choice the next day to save and leave the US for good.

In 2018 when I finally left, I qualified for a green card, but I didn’t want it. I knew the direction it would go.

Everyone said I was crazy and no one willingly gives up that chance, but there hasn’t been a single day I regret leaving.

It was horrid living in a red state as a black immigrant then, and I can’t imagine what an immigrant is dealing with living there now.

  15. He already did this remember? He threatened to deport students who were protesting and threatened to take the visas of international students.

    Legal immigrants are citizens.

Let’s not regularize calling the immigrants if they are now citizens.

  17. His supporters think there are millions of illegal immigrants who are doing nothing but collecting government assistance, so there would be no loss if they disappeared. In reality, the cost to deport and replace them in the workforce would cause substantial harm.

  18. This would be a violation of US and international law and a human rights violation as well as a violation of the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We are Charter Members of the UN and accepting refugees is settled international law.

Doesn’t that mean not only having a dictator but also LEAVING THE UN? We would have to leave the UN Security Council. China and Russia would love that.

This is like a big game of chess that we would be losing.
