Our immigration should be tied to the limiting factors of the number of excess jobs created, homes built, and doctors trained at a minimum. Whichever one has the lowest capacity will determine the immigration number.
For 1.2 approximate newcomers in 2023, how many doctors, homes, and jobs does this equate to needing? My guess is much more than was actually created.
