The problem with this article is it ignores the fact that like the Arab countries in ww2 we are a resource hub and as such a key strategic region that will be fought over regardless of our feelings about the matter.
No one gave a single solitary rolled rats turd about the arabs opinion on occupation by the Germans and the the Brits going back and forth and no one will listen to our whining either.

There’s no WWIII scenario where we need mass mobilisation. Iran’s incredibly vulnerable to the bomb’s Israel is sending its way, Russia isn’t even the strongest army in Russia, and Taiwan would be a short and brutal affair with no chance of a western land invasion.

I just hope Australia doesn’t get dragged into a war in the Middle East based on lies. If you look at stories discussed in the Israeli media (like Netanyahu funding Hamas to prevent the formation of a Palestinian state), you will definitely question the wisdom of sending Australians over to kill and die for something that should be over with a few signatures on paper.

Who do they expect to fight their war for them. The state has been openly persecuting any form a native nationalists for well over a decade , people who have no form of patriotic or nationalist spirit don’t enlist to fight wars. Then if you look at the Ukraine war the first people to flee were those that had immigrated there. Those are the 2 largest pools of fighting age men.
Australia doesn’t even have a force large enough to defend from an invasion. Further on from that it’s well known that multiple of our ” enemy nations already have troops in the country in some capacity. What do you think will happen the moment we send our troops somewhere else. It would suicide.
