Please excuse the shitty screenshot lol. Censored out locations on the transactions.

Pending transactions with their dates altered retroactively to place someone’s balance below zero in order to charge an overdraw fee whilst simultaneously erasing the evidence that proves they were not actually “under” at the time of the fee is deeply corrupt. Actually it’s fucking fraud lol.

The amount of times I’ve been charged an “overdraw” fee when my balance was in the positives due to me transferring money– and therefore clearly having credit– is fucking insane. Once they did this so my account was in the negatives and then charged me another $15 on top of it, just ’cause. I got refunded the full $30 as a “gesture of goodwill”, which is the most insulting, high-and-mighty condescending bullshit I’ve ever experienced. Goodwill? Giving me my money back is “goodwill”? Sorry I stole your wallet, mate; here, let me give you back your cash as a gesture of “goodwill”. Fuck me, cunt.

TransportNSW is the biggest perpetrator in fucking up people’s bank balance, but for once this wasn’t solely because of transport fees. This was because, contrary to how it seems, pending transactions are calculated right before overdraws, and overdraws are obviously calculated before payments towards the account, meaning even though I had a positive balance, I was charged a $15 overdraw fee that threw me into the negatives. Again.

I’m glad I caught it otherwise Westpac would literally take the rest of my money and I’d have been clean flat broke, $0 to my name in all accounts. I fucking hate it here and I’m changing to ING, I should’ve done it sooner.

Sorry for the rant, really had to get this one off my chest. It’s hard enough right now just to afford groceries, fuck do the cunts need to make it harder?
