Too late. Hundreds of the missiles have successfully hit their targets in Israel.

  2. Even those paying the slightest attention knew the US calls for peace were fluff.

EDIT: Don’t know why this is getting downvoted. Reddit is just a weird place where truth is frowned upon, even rejected. Even media is pointing out that it was all BS on the part of the US.

It’s very important for the world to remember that Iran was a progressive democracy before USA led regime change that morphed into what we have now. Fuck the cia.

As we know, when elephants fight it’s the grass that suffers. Life is hard enough for the good people in these countries without leaders waging war. Hopefully there will be peace one day.

I dunno, So Ukrainian civilians getting slaughtered from air strikes are just fine with no direct US military intervention. But Israel, that arguably has more advanced missile defense systems than the US warrants US help?

  6. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-us-prepared-israel-defend-iranian-attack/story?id=114393069) reduced by 71%. (I’m a bot)

    > President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were monitoring the Iranian attack against Israel from the White House Situation Room and receiving regular updates from their national security team, officials said Tuesday.

    > The president had directed the U.S. military to aid Israel's defense against Iranian attacks and to help shoot down missiles targeting Israel, they said.

    > Earlier, before the strike began, Biden had posted on X that the U.S. was ready to help Israel defend against the Iranian missile attack.

  7. If these missiles hit Israel, it is an act of war. Absolutely no modern country in the 21st century would allow this to happen on their soil and not do something about it. This is escalated.

  9. Before this

    >A spokesman said they spoke about severe consequences “in the event Iran chooses to launch a direct military attack against Israel.”

Herm, this doesn’t seem severe. Maybe working on a plan or letting the IDF strike itself?
