  1. Removing a drop box for no earthly reason by the mayor who by all accounts has no business moving a drop box should probably be considered election or voting interference.

  2. In Oregon we were the first in the nation to adopt Vote by Mail for all elections. At City Hall in my little suburb of Portland we have a weatherproof drive in drop box that is permanently attached to the sidewalk and under constant video surveillance. It is impossible to fish a ballot out of it and nothing but envelopes will fit in it. The deposit slot is locked up tight until mail-in ballots are sent out to voters about three weeks before each election. At 8PM on election day, it will be locked again until the next election.

  3. Is removing/moving the drop box not illegal? I’d imagine it would be akin to messing with post office drop boxes.

  4. The helmet is a tip he learned by watching J6. That type behavior warrants wearing protection from people clubbing you.

  5. Mayor does have a point though. Why aren’t they bolted down? The ones in my city, are big and bulky enough where a simple dolly wouldn’t be able to cart it away, and they’re bolted down.

  6. I swear these jerks are showing off and trying to outperform each other, for each other. They’re in it for the attention.
