Recon groups are going in, as per usual with an initial offensive. The Lebanese army already pulled back. Hezbollah is nowhere to be seen.

Crazy that Hezbollah has just been allowed to exist for so long that the only way for them to be dealt with is to physically go and remove them. Why is Lebanon so chill with them using their country to launch these attacks from? Is the majority or the population pro-Hezbollah?

So typically. You don’t have a vehicle behind your troops marching in a loose formation HIGHLIGHTED by vehicle lights, normally there would be infrared flood lights but no white light. This is how you get your people killed, because they are highlighted, with light, that can be seen for miles, screaming shoot in this direction. This looks like training footage, and that maybe the safety vehicle.

As someone who was in the IDF this is highly unlikely to be true.
Night time manouvers in enemy territory is not done with headlights on. Most drivers have night vision goggles especially in lead elements.
Light discipline is crucial to effective nighttime operations, not only would this be giving away a unit but destroying the natural night sight of the infantry.
This is either an old training exercises or they are just moving within northern Israeli territory.

With white lights on? I’d hope not.

Grunt: If we need this much light, why didn’t we do this during the day?
Poor Lebanon can’t catch a break.
