  1. Seems like a bad idea trying to be an arms exporter and placing restrictions on arms exports to active warzones…

  2. So Switzerland’s government wants to remain “neutral” but they also want to benefit from the war.

I don’t think Switzerland’s definition of neutral matches what everyone else believes it to mean. WWII should have given us a hint.

  3. The Swiss are more than happy to take Putin, and his oligarch’s mafia-money but supplying weapons to the enemy of the hand that feeds them poses an issue. Now you know what the cost of freedom is, it’s in Swiss bank accounts.

  4. It’s really interesting how strong and in my opinion irrational stance Switzerland took on old Gepard ammo that Germany bought decades ago, they could’ve quietly given a go and nobody would give a shit, instead it became months/year long advert for not buying stuff from Switzerland. It will really hurt their industry in the long run. Can’t imagine anyone sane will be rushing to buy weapons from country that probably won’t even resupply you in times of war because it would threaten their “neutrality”.

See where neutrality gets ya, Switzerland?

You’d think you would have learned form the last time your cooperated with a fascist regime while the free world fought for yours and everyone else’s future

  6. >Germany has now decided to exclude Swiss companies from certain military procurement contracts.

you dont want those fuckers to play coy when you, the largest buyer ask to buy stuff.

Its law should be amended so that the arms cannot be sold to the country under conflict directly or indirectly. But any deal done before the conflict occurred is off this limit. I would say f* you to Switzerland as well when i have no control how to use the arms bought long ago.
