Hispanics are sensible and see Trump for the criminal he is. Team Biden must continue to facilitate the integrations of newcomers and facilitate the regularization of undocumented newcomers. They are a credit to their communities and are willing to do work that others will not do. They keep our communities afloat and are sensible voters that have not fallen for foreign disinformation programs

  2. The candidate who’s campaign is underpinned by scapegoat fear mongering racism of migrant laborers and refugees from Central and South America may have issues with Hispanics? Who could have imagined?

  3. From the article:

    >”Campaigns need to do more to engage these voters with messaging that addresses the issues that matter to them, and, most importantly, they should do that in Spanish.”

    >However, neither of the presidential candidates speaks Spanish.

Whoever wrote this article was having absolutely none of that quote. lol

  4. Who knew “Pack yo’ shit. We’re making brown citizens illegal now.” makes for a bad campaign slogan.

  5. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.newsweek.com/arizona-georgia-polling-hispanic-voters-trump-harris-1960291) reduced by 91%. (I’m a bot)

    > Donald Trump has taken a significant hit among Hispanic voters in two key swing states, according to polling shared with Newsweek.

    > The poll shows that 44 percent of Hispanic voters said they would "Definitely" vote for Harris, up from 38 percent in July; only 22 percent expressed the same commitment to Trump, who has seen his support among Hispanics grow by 1 point in Georgia since July.

    > A Marist poll conducted between September 19 and 24 showed Donald Trump with a narrow 1-point lead over Harris among likely voters in Arizona, holding 50 percent to her 49 percent.

I wonder if being open about wanting to deport legal immigrants had anything to do with this.

Do hispanics realize that Trump’s proposed mass deportation is going to be based primarily on skin color?

  8. Wasn’t it Newsweek running the “Kamala Harris has a Latino support problem” headline yesterday?

  9. There’s a reported 13 yo girl via Epstein whom he suffered a blow from as well. That should be talked about more IMO

    Newsweek.

In a couple hours their AI servers will belch out an article about some setback for Harris or bright spot for Trump.

Newsweek is down to 3-4 employees, mostly custodial and server admins who swap out backup tapes. You can ignore.

  11. I am to the point where I won’t click on the link if it is Newsweek. I do check the comments to see if they had anything valid to say.

  12. Ah it’s today’s “Harris is winning big with group X” article. To be followed in 1 hour by “election stil tied” article. Get the clicks!!

I believe very very little of what is posted here. There is absolutely no objectivity, just a bunch of sheep.

  14. Kamala has been really smart about how she’s been approaching Hispanics in her campaign. Rather than treating them like their own separate category that she needs to appeal to, she treats them like they’re people like everyone else. She’s appealing to them by talking about crime, security and economic opportunity. The same things that everyone else wants.

I live in California and a lot of Hispanic people that I know get frustrated when the Democrats try to pander to them rather than treat them like a person like everyone else.

  15. I hope that most hispanics know that if trump wins we’re all going to have to carry our “papers” everywhere we go, and even then it might not be enough.

  16. I’ve worked in the construction industry for over a decade, starting as an alt-right-trending young white man fresh out of high school.

I credit working with Hispanic immigrant men overwhelmingly in the construction industry as to why my worldview changed from alt-right to vehemently progressive. (I voted for Trump in 2016 for context. I’m so sorry. I was barely in my 20s and didn’t understand.)

These men taught me how empathetic, hard-working, family oriented, genuine, kind, and unfathomably selfish their cultures and own characters were, all to spit in the face of the narrative of hate my parents and their affiliates taught me as a kid. It broke my brain and I realized how wrong I was about *everything*. Immigrant men took that young, white, conservative, evangelical, subconscious racist, and turned him into the empathetic and anti-bigoted, socially active, passionate for equity for all, man that I am today. I am better for it. I am teaching it to my children. I am eternally grateful for my time spent working blue collar trades with these amazing guys. My respect for immigrants is so off the charts now, in fact, that I actively seek them out now that I am a construction superintendent in the managerial world. They are amazing, reliable, hard working people and I take great pride in paying them as much as I possibly can, they deserve the world.

    All this being said –

It floors me that any Hispanic person could even remotely support Trump. It’s iconoclastic to me. I really hope they realize what they are voting for before it’s too late.
