It’s called algorithm. The Chinese government don’t need to interfere, our patriotic American billionaires are already doing it for them for profit.

Young and the stupid use TikTok and are valuable voters to any party. Security risk or not politicians need to reach as many people as possible.
Facebook, and all other social media is also used to influence and create discourse. Lets not just single out TikTok.
