As an Asian (US citizen but born in China) I’m honestly shocked it’s that high. Asian Americans are overall decently liberal, but I’ve been shocked as an adult how many of the older generations are susceptible to strongman propaganda even while their home countries have suffered in the past from strongman leaders. A lot of Chinese people also idolize business success and wealth (Bill Gates was a bigger celebrity than Britney Spears in the 90s in China). Older Asians are also typically much more conservative.
But this is a great sign even though it’s just one poll. It gives me hope that we are becoming a bigger and bigger voting bloc that can begin to make even more major moves and have our concerns heard and be taken seriously.

Reminder to all Asian American voters. Trump is the man who attacked the Chinese and Asians for COVID… the “China virus”… I’m not going to say here or there where COVID came from.
