  1. I’d hope so. There’s not enough houses, hospitals, jobs, or infrastructure for everyone already here.

  2. @6:55 were we to go back to Stephen Harper numbers that would be an irresponsible approach to immigration.  -Mark Miller

These people don’t care about you, and they won’t slow immigration despite the homeless encampments and people living in rest stops.  They are landlords themselves, so they have a perverse incentive to keep pumping the gas.

The Business Lobbyists won’t let that happen, they need a steady supply of TFWs they can exploit.

    I’m sure it will

Won’t make any Canadians richer especially the ones that complain the most I guarantee that. Will ease burdens on social safety net but that is chronically underfunded anyway so any number greater than zero will be scapegoated as the cause of the problems

They won’t reduce immigration numbers what so ever but will try create a narrative of doing just that through smoke and mirrors announcements about temporary forgone workers and international student numbers that don’t actually affect the amount of people they’re actually given citizenship to.

They have no plan or desire to reduce immigration numbers and don’t give a shit as to how it’s affecting actual Canadians

  6. Maybe disabled Canadians will have a chance at actual support if the asylum seekers aren’t being given $226/day. Kick them all out until the government can support their own citizens who have paid into the system.

  7. They say they are doing it to save pensions.

But … my pensions are not enough to cover shelter.

So … that was a lie.

As long as Trudeau is in charge the answer is NO. Nothing good will come until the change of the head.

The wealthy insist on following the Century Initiative and nothing is going to stop it. Money and influence have a lot of clout in Ottawa.
