“the Prizrak Battalion is one of the separatist units known for brutal treatment and torture of POWs

A former Ukrainian POW of the Prizrak Brigade told [Amnesty International](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amnesty_International) that his captors had brutally mistreated him and other prisoners, with daily beatings, near-starvation, and stabbing and shootings. The group also forced prisoners to read confessions on Russian TV”

    Just regular Russian behaviour…

When are you guys gonna take Odesa btw?

    Fucking never? Great!

The Minsk Agreement dissolved the USSR and defined a number of independent states in the process. Among them Ukraine. Independent states decide themselves where to go, and some sought safety and prosperity by joining Nato and EU which required thorough reforms.

Funny how you mention Minsk Agreements that Russia violated several times

Russia never honored their part. Not surprising as Russia has violated the Budapest Memorandum, the UN Charter and more. The Minsk II agreements were never activated, since Russia never began the cease-fire. Ukraine did not ‘invade the Donbas’, because the territory is and always has been Ukrainian.

According to the Minsk agreements Russia had to withdraw all their forces from the occupied Ukrainian territory. They have never did that, Ukraine tried to settle everything peacefully. Unfortunately, you can’t have peace talks with a crazy rabid dog that tries to kill you.

According to this Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine becoming parties to the [Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_on_the_Non-Proliferation_of_Nuclear_Weapons) and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they agreed to the following:

    1. Respect the signatory’s independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.
    2. Refrain from the threat or the use of force against the signatory.
    3. Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by the signatory of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
    4. Seek immediate [Security Council](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_Council) action to provide assistance to the signatory if they “should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used”.
    5. Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against the signatory.
    6. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments.

As Russia has among other things invaded parts of Ukraine twice (2014 and 2022) it is pretty clear that Russia do not care about this.

NATO was not a signature to either of the Minsk agreements, NATO did not violate any agreement but Russia invaded Ukraine, so it appears as if Russia did violate a nation they promised not to invade.

Is Kazakhstan next in line for Russian “liberation”?
