A look at the new districts in B.C.’s fall election as legislature grows to 93 seats

Is it just me, or is it weird that Global never once refers to British Columbia’s 93 electoral districts as ridings or constituencies, but instead refers to them as “seats”? It feels like this was written by someone who wasn’t educated in the culture and customs of Canada.
