While Bonnie Crombie appears to be somewhat trying, particularly in non-traditional Liberal areas. Her weakness is in the 905 areas including Mississauga. For example, she did poorly in neighboring Milton. At the end of the day, the message that the only people getting ahead are “wealthy friends and insiders” falls flat. Nobody believes that the Liberals are any different in that respect – just a slightly different set of “friends and insiders”. Most people will not see a difference between the Liberals and the Conservatives. Plus her opposition to things like highway 413 just doesn’t play well for the average 905 voter battling traffic everyday.

I really don’t think she has a good chance , she really pissed off the 905 abandoning her city for a better opportunity

Credit where it’s due: Energizer Bonnie is a good name.
But here’s the thing: I’m out of college and in good health. What does the NIMBYest mayor in the province have to offer me? It sure as hell isn’t getting houses built.

She should have tried to kickstart the party when she was first elected, this is too little, too late. Hardly unexpected though.
