  1. If only we had some sort of natural resource that we could nationalise and use the profits to fund our social systems.

Nah, better to let private companies take their profits out of country and tax the middle class to death.

  2. “Procurement Minister and newly appointed Quebec lieutenant Jean-Yves Duclos is warning the NDP that the dental care program it helped put into place will be in jeopardy if it pulls its support from the governing Liberals.

“Four million adults between 18 and 64 will only become eligible in the first six months of 2025,” Duclos told CTV’s Question Period host Vassy Kapelos, in an interview airing Sunday. “The NDP needs to decide whether these four million Canadians deserve dental care, that’s a serious question, which the NDP needs to answer.””

Brutal. It is frustrating that some think of the LPC as progressive, when it is clear that they are not (where it counts)

  3. Singh has called the Trudeau government “weak” and “selfish.” He also said this week that the Liberals “don’t deserve another chance.”

As he gives them, another chance lol and will continue to do until the scheduled ejection next fall.

  4. I think the point here is that if the Liberals are defeated and Poilievre wins the election, he will kill the dental program. And I don’t think he’s wrong to be clear about the stakes.

The danger in such a remark is that it makes it very clear that it’s the NDP, not the Liberals, who are the architects of the dental care program.

  5. Over due and under delivered . Don’t pat yourselves on the back . Election time is coming . We see our paid MPs not listening . Votes are recorded.

The RCMP need to decide if they’re going to charge Randy with conflict of interest and put him in jail.

  7. If we can afford dental care for 4 million Canadians. According to the budget, the federal deficit is projected to be $39.8 billion in 2024-25, $38.9 billion in 2025-26.

  8. The NDP wants Canadians to have full Universal Healthcare, for the whole body.

The facts the Liberals would hold it hostage rather than push to improve it, shows you that power is all they want, not to serve Canadians.
