I think we need to be sending a shit ton of thermal optics to the Ukrainians. It’s safe to say most of those Russian conscripts on the frontline don’t have any kind of night vision and therefore Ukraine can do a lot more successful night missions.

I love how when there is thermal footage of a singular shot and extremely unclear footage of a thermal blip disappearing, it’s titled “sniper takes out soldier” and this dude is taking them out and he’s “stalking”. Nah, he’s murkin them.

I can’t but think how futile war is from these close up videos. Don’t get me wrong, Russia is wrong and needs to be pushed out at severe cost and warfare is a necessary evil to accomplish this but gotdamn …
