Hey tourists! How about working on actually understanding the culture and country you feel so entitled to vacation in? Normally I’d be completely mortified for this girl (and I really do feel for her). But c’mon- you go to a country where women are second class citizens and what? Expect them to apply different rules to you because you’re white? Get treated special because you don’t know the language of the country you have chosen to spend time in? Idk man. Tourism is a blight and people’s entitlement to turn other people’s homes into a playground causes more harm than good on so many levels.

Hurghada Airport is not proper “commercial” the way we use that word.
It was built in the 60s specifically for tourists. There is literally no other reason to go there – just tourism. No egyptian is using the airline.
A few dozen resorts have direct hourly busses running from the airport.
It’s the second busiest airport in the middle east JUST because of tourism
Considering ALL of that, maybe can like – idk, be more fucking lenient with western tourists? You ain’t Qatar, Egypt – you’ll die without tourism. If i was in charge there i’d be looking to get some positive press out there asap.
