The article itself highlights the complications. Some people are demanding a figure, but finding a good candidate who won’t drop out during the process is difficult.
I am honestly pretty skeptical there is any value in these positions to begin with. Balancing the scales between rival communities sounds stupid even if it is necessary.

The anti-semitism envoy was purely political and has already cost Labor. Should’ve just increased resources to existing bodies.
