    So the issue is that they rely on more intern students instead of stabilizing the ones that are alrededy working and pay them a full salary? I did not fully understand the issue, so if anyone can confirm…

    Looks like the doctors are on strike, but WebMD is still giving everyone the same diagnosis: cancer.

    So what is the end game? Government recognizes issue of lack of doctors -> works toward training more doctors -> existing, overworked doctors refuse to work anymore -> medical system strained even more.
