To be fair modern humans have been around for approx 200-250k years. Though that’s as true for any ethnicity as another.
I think general consensus for First Nations Aussies is they arrived here approx 60k years ago, though I could be wrong there.

Well, make sure when you vote in the next election, you have a good read through the manifesto of the person/party you’re voting for & choose accordingly.
Also, it’s worth familiarising yourself with some keywords and phrase such as ‘Closing the gap’, IAS, RAPs, Native Title, reparations & of course the[ full Uluru statement](https://www.skynews.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Credlin-Editorial-PDF-2.pdf) which they’ve tried very hard to scrub, the lefties raged over that!

If he did mean it then good. I don’t like welcome to country, if they get extreme with it then it’ll force pushback against it sooner.
