4 NPA Communist rebels were KIA, while 2 others were wounded.
The encounter occurred on September 14, 2021, when elements of the PNP-SAF (Police Commando) and military operatives engaged the communist rebels in a firefight, which lasted for 1 hour and 10 minutes that led to the deaths of 4 terrorist.
They were tipped off by intelligence reports on presence of NPA rebels trying to recruit new members in the area.
War materiel recovered, (2) M16, (1) M14 and (1) possible BAR.
