Does anyone else get incredibly frustrated with the McDonald’s incredibly poor management of happy meal toys?
They are doing a whole promotion around the despicable me 4 movie. They bought back good happy meal toys which are minions and actual toys.
My kids loved the movie and as the toys were decent we have been going to get happy meals every 5-7 days.
Went to the large shopping centre with a movie theatre and got happy meals. Minion branding covered the store, happy meal box minion branded – the toy was the ‘toy’ from the womens football world cup and the book which was also advertised from the movie was a little people book. Sadness from many kids in the food court.
Surely managing stock isn’t that hard.

They should have a display saying what the toy and book is currently being provided is so parents can actually make an informed decision – previously we had stopped buying happy meals (and McDonald’s) because the toys were so crap.

Surely they can do better have the toy which is advertised.

(Also I don’t care if you think I shouldn’t feed my kids McDonalds).

It’s McDonalds. It barely qualifies as food, yet the toys are the breaking point.

Interesting. Is the Banana thickshake good? Haven’t had a thickshake for perhaps 20 years.

Should be reported for feeding your kids maccas and thinking it’s food.
