The data comes from a [survey](https://www.fiergs.org.br/noticia/pesquisa-da-fiergs-mostra-que-63-das-industrias-consultadas-afetadas-pelas-enchentes) conducted by the Federation of Industries of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS), an association that represents the sector. Among the main losses caused by floods were difficulties in logistics for the flow of production or receipt of inputs, as well as problems with workers and suppliers.
