Greece is doing great. The problems they have are good in a sense. They’ve figured out how to close their coal power plants. Solar and wind are expanding at a breakneck speed, also in part to the EU recovery plan. Consumer prices are well under control.
Now look up north to Bulgaria and you’ll see what a genuine bad state looks like. Coal is kept up to secure votes, wind is non-existent and solar is hitting all the roadblocks, but a much earlier stage. The politicians are so corrupt and inept that they can’t even take advantage of EU-funding.
