October 17, 2024America just set an EV sales record. Americans purchased more than 346,000 EVs during the third quarter of 2024. EVs now make up almost nine percent of all cars sold in the US. Global EV sales were up 30 percent in September.

Given that it was more than halved since the winter of 2016/2017 that seems doable, but it’s gonna be hard.
